VOLKSWAGEN TRANSPORTER 2010 MODEL
The Volkswagen Transporter T5 van is one of the most searched for van on the Vanlocator database. With the new, face-lifted model hitting the streets, the Transporter is set to continue to the set the standards for mid-range panel vans. The build quality, ride and reliability are all factors that make the transporter desirable, but it is perhaps the heritage that makes it as popular as it is. VW have done a great job introducing the Sportline version, making the Transporter a vehicle everyone wants to be seen in.
This is confirmed by the number of aftermarket add-ons that you can buy to make your Transporter even more precious. Nudge bars, bespoke alloys, interiors, ECU remapping means that no two Transporters need be alike. These things never existed for the likes of the LDV Maxus!
New to the UK for 2010 was the facelifted Volkswagen Transporter - the T5 model. With millions of Transporters sold over the years, Volkswagen knows a thing or two about putting together a commercial vehicle and it shows in the newest version of the Transporter and all its variants, the Caravelle MPV, Multivan combi van and California camper.
The Volkswagen Transporter’s facelift was the first of Volkswagen’s commercial vehicles to fall into line with VW’s new approach to design. The main visual changes are to the front of the T5 Volkswagen Transporter van, especially around the light section – but most of the changes are under the bonnet. This includes more efficient common rail diesels which emit much less CO2 – down by a massive 52g/km when compared to the outgoing model.
