2007 MODEL PEUGEOT EXPERT VAN
The design of the new Peugeot Expert gives it a modern appearance – Peugeot claim to have thought through how the van looks in all its guises – long and short, low and high. The front of the Peugeot Expert leaves you in no doubt that it is a Peugeot.
The Peugeot Expert is available in two wheelbases and two heights – compared to the previous model Expert that was only available in the UK in one length. Lengths for the new SWB version are longer than the outgoing model by nearly a foot.
Loadspace for the Peugeot Expert starts at 5m3 for the short and low, rising to 7m3 for the L2H2 (long and high). High roof versions allow many drivers to be able to stand inside, as long as they are no taller than 1.75 metres, whilst Euro pallets can squeeze between the wheel arches. Increased payloads to a choice of 1 tonne or 1.2 tonnes, depending on model chosen should be sufficient for any job in hand.
Driver protection from the load area comes as standard with a ladder-type protector – extra protection is available at a cost – keeping the driver safer and warmer and the load safer.
Access to the van is easy for the driver – no crouching down or clambering up. This helps multi drop drivers – as does the bright, airy cabin. The steep rake to the oversized windscreen means that there is the appearance of more space in the van.
