2011 MODEL NISSAN NV200
Nissan's newest baby - the Nissan NV200 has been much praised by the motoring press, thanks to its ability to squeeze plenty of loadspace into a small overall van. Looking at the pictures, the van looks like a mid-range sized vehicle, whereas it competes in size terms with the Volkswagen Caddy and Citroen Berlingo.
Powered by a 1.5 litre diesel, the NV200 emits just 137g/kg of CO2 and returns up to 54MPG.
The second half of 2011 sees the introduction of a new engine to the lineup, as well as a series of extras added to the NV200 range. Customers can now choose a 110bhp version of the same 1.5 litre DCi engine with emissions only slightly higher than the existing, lower-powered 85bhp engine option.
Choose from the standard E grade or opt for the luxuries of an SE Grade - from July 2011 Nissan have introduced the n-tech grade which gets, on top of the SE spec, Satnvav, cruise control and a speed limiter which can be adjusted by the driver.
There is also a Combi variant to fit a total of seven people inside. For the second half of 2011 Nissan have upgraded the range, with bluetooth throught the range and a rear view camera on the SE grade. A totally new grade has introduced the n-tech version, which sees
The van is just 4400mm long, 1,860mm high and 1,695mm wide, but packs in a loadspace of 4.2m3 and load length of more than two metres – accommodating two Euro pallets.
