2007 MODEL FIAT SCUDO
The 2007 model Fiat Scudo replaced the long in the tooth model first seen in 1995 and brought with it a fresh look that modernised the sector with its siblings the Citroen Dispatch and the Peugeot Expert.

This mid-range segment is now more competitive than ever – the Scudo alone comes in eighteen different version from launch –including vans, chassis cabs, and two different passenger versions – ‘Combo’ or ‘Panorama Family’.

Load volumes increase to a maximum of 7m3 and payloads go as high as 1200 kg. With a fantastically low loading height of just 490mm, (lower than the Fiat Fiorino) and a low roof height, it can be lowered further using the pneumatic suspension) to get into low car parks.

The Scudo has a choice of common rail diesels – a 1600cc version rated at 90bhp and a 2000cc unit rated at 120 bhp and 140 bhp. All engines use EGR system to clean up emissions to meet Euro 4 standards. The engines drive the front wheels through a five speed for the smaller engine, whilst the larger 2 litre versions get six gears as standard.

Trim levels - Comfort and Deluxe get you an attractive set of features – the comfort has power steering, selectable central locking with blipper, ABS with EBD, driver’s airbag and a CD player with controls on the steering wheel, Electric front windows, Extra drinks holders on dashboard, some lining to the cargo area, 12 volt power in the load area and 16” wheels.
