2007 MODEL CITROEN DISPATCH
The current Dispatch model extends the range of lengths and heights of compact panel vans available from Peugeot – replacing the long in the tooth model that had been marketed for the previous decade.
The styling of the current Dispatch is modern and stylish looking – giving an impressive image for any van operator. Much larger than the previous Dispatch, the Dispatch is still low enough for entry to most carparks. To improve effectiveness, the Dispatch comes as standard with twin side loading doors – no extra cost options here – barn doors are standard, but buyers can opt for an up and over tailgate. A reduced load height has been a Dispatch strength at just 56cm, less even than the predecessor.
The Dispatch's load area comes with a choice ranging from 2254mm to 2584mm. For longer items there is special overhead tunnel that gives extra length for loading long thin pipes, if you have any. Choose from SWB or LWB versions to get an improvement on the outgoing model's 4m3 volume.
The smallest option, the SWB, low roof Dispatch now has a load volume of 5.0m3 - the LWB low roof van has as much as 6.0m3 - add an extra square metre for the high roofed version. Payloads have also gone up - from 900kg to as high as 1.2 tonnes.
