The ‘Go Green & Clean Allowance’ is Citroën’s commitment to the London Mayor’s Office to provide help to LCV operators affected by the changes that come into effect in just over a month’s time.

Volkswagen Van Centre Cheltenham has been named one the best in the country. The dealer was presented the ‘2011 Most Valued Van Centre for sales award’ in quarter two.
Head of business at Volkswagen Van Centre, John Seddon, explains. “We believe customer service is central to our business success and are absolutely delighted that this has been acknowledged by winning this award.”

VW vans have come up with a great looking take on the delivery van of the future. Working with Deutsche Post, (who operate plenty of vehicles) they came up with a vehicle based on the VW Transporter called the eT!
The company focused on zero-emissions driving and available space in urban areas plus semiautomatic driving functions.

Building management services firm, Integral UK Ltd, has taken delivery of its latest fleet of Renault vans this month.
Integral UK is one of the largest independent providers of property maintenance services in the country, providing both planned preventative and reactive maintenance to over 1,600 clients in 40,000 locations. With 1,300 technicians and engineers, the firm operates one of the largest national mobile maintenance fleets with an engineer in every postcode, enabling a focus on a first time fix and a quick and efficient response.
With a fleet of more than 1,200 vehicles, there are constantly handovers of new Renault vehicles, with the latest batch of six recently arriving at Renault Birmingham. The French marque has provided 227 Kangoo Vans, 205 Trafic vans, and six Master vans on a solus basis since 2010.

Volkswagen Crafter Gets 4×4 Version

The new Volkswagen Crafter is now available as a four-wheel-drive version, branded the VW Crafter 4MOTION with four-wheel drive from Achleitner. The Austrian four-wheel drive specialist has developed a four-wheel drive system that provides great traction both on and off road.
The new Crafter 4MOTION four-wheel drive was launched at the Dakar 2012 press conference in Paris where both the four-wheel drive Crafter and the Amarok were Dakar escort vehicles.
The Crafter 4 MOTION is designed for utilities, emergency services and other organisations that need to be able to move large loads into inhospitable places.
The four-wheel-drive Crafter is treading a well-worn path – the Volkswagen Transporter T5 4MOTION numbers approximately 11% of all T5 sales per year, whilst the VW Caddy 4MOTION manages 6% of total sales.

Six new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans have just been purchased by Bath-based Regency Laundry & Dry Cleaning, replacing a previous batch of Sprinters from Westbury dealer Rygor Commercials.
The latest arrivals are all fuel-efficient 313CDI models with low-emission Euro 5 engines.

Volkswagen Amarok Makes Auction Debut

The new Volkswagen Amarok pick-up enjoyed a successful auction debut recently during a closed sale at Manheim Auctions, Bruntingthorpe. The two 2011 Amarok double cabs sold were both the top Highline specification with selectable 4MOTION all-wheel drive with the 2.0-litre, 163ps Bi-Turbo TDI engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. The vehicles shared the same specifications including leather upholstery, metallic paint, satellite navigation, towbar, underbody protection, load compartment protection and mechanical differential lock. One Amarok with 7,113 miles achieved 98% of list price while the other, with 674 miles, achieved an excellent 104% of list price.
