This isn’t a meeting of the Ford Transit Van owner’s club, or the latest fashions for Transit van drivers, but Ford vans release of their latest photo from the archives to celebrate their centenary in the UK. This image shows handlers at Regents Park Zoo transport two baby elephants in 1965.
Later this year all Ford Transits will have Euro 5 level engines, offering improved fuel economy and a diesel particulate filter, with vaporiser technology that collects over 95 per cent of all engine soot emissions. Additionally, all Euro 5 engines will now have a variable nozzle turbo that boosts low-end torque and improves driveability as well as reducing emissions.
