We have seen some interesting and oddball vans come and go through the vanlocator website over the years, but we have never seen anything quite as unusual as a pink Ford Ranger tipper!
On sale by David Ray Commercials near Derby, the pick up-cum-tipper has come directly from a council. Fitted with a caged tipper at the rear and an amber beacon on the roof, this pink Ford Ranger could be put to a variety of uses immediately, although the driver may need to wear sunglasses even at night as the colour is so distinctive.
The Ranger has just 69,000 miles on the clock and was registered in early 2007 as a ’56’ plate. Fitted with Ford’#s 2.5-litre TDCi diesel, the payload of the tipper is still over a tonne with a gross vehicle weight of just over the three tonne mark.
The Ranger will set you back £6,500+VAT, which is a fraction of what this specialist vehicle would cost new.
