Citroen Commercial vehicles have added their ‘Stop and Start’ system to the new Euro 5 Citroen Nemo. Ready to order from dealers immediately, the 75PS 660 payload Nemo is greener than the previous version in terms of both particulates and CO2 emissions. To increase the specification of these vans, Citroen have given the Citroen Nemo Enterprise a dual function connecting box which gives the sound system Bluetooth compatibility and a USB slot.
The Citroen Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX features Citroën’s innovative Electronic Gearbox System – an advanced automated manual gearbox. This combines the fuel efficiency of a manual ’box with the driver benefit of a two pedal automatic. The EGS gearbox enables the driver to select automatic mode, or manual mode using the sequential shift facility of the central gear selector.
The Citroën Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX provides even better fuel economy and lower emission figures than those achieved by the Euro 5 Nemo HDi vans with five-speed manual transmission. CO2emissions for the EGS model are reduced by 3.54% to just 109g/km from the manual transmission Euro 5 model’s 113g/km. Its exceptional fuel economy figures are also even better than those of the manual transmission van with 60.1mpg Urban (+7.82%), 74.3mpg Extra Urban (unchanged) and 68.9mpg Combined (+4.64%).

It enables hard pressed businesses to provide their drivers with the comfort and convenience of two pedal driving, while gaining from additional fuel efficiency and emissions benefits. And, amazingly, the Citroën Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop & Start 660 LX is only £400 more expensive than the equivalent manual transmission model.”
Euro 5 Nemo – designed to benefit businesses
All vans in the Euro 5 Nemo range provide operators with major financial, environmental and productivity benefits. As Citroën’s smallest van, the Nemo is designed to appeal to urban businesses. Reinforcing its urban credentials, the Nemo is just 3.86m long and has a turning-circle of just 9.95m. Yet, the Citroën Nemo has a large internal load volume of 2.8m³ and payloads of up to 660kg – matching the load carrying and load volume capacity of some of its larger high-cube competitors.
