The Peugeot Expert has won the small panel van award for the second time. What appealed to the judges was the ease of driving and the suitability of the van for towns and cities – it can fit in multi storey carparks and still carry up to 1.2 tonnes and up to 7m3 of loadspace.
It is powered by Peugeot’s class-leading HDi diesel engines; a 1.6 litre 90 bhp or a 2.0 litre producing either 120 or 136 bhp.
Load volume starts at 5.0 m3 in the L1 H1 version, increases to 6.0 m3 in the long wheelbase L2 H1 version and extends to 7.0 m3 in the high-roof L2 H2 version. All versions also benefit from two sliding side loading doors to ensure good access to each side of the load area.
