The 2006 Model Vauxhall Astravan wheelbase is longer than the outgoing model, but with shorter overhangs, the roadholding is better and there is more room inside the cab and in the rear for cargo. You get about two inches of extra length and an extra 45kgs carrying capacity in the 2006 Model Vauxhall Astravan compared to the previous version.

Security is taken car of by remote-controlled central deadlocking, and a sophisticated alarm system is available for an extra ungrade cost. Blip the blipper at night and the lights stay on to see you safely through your front door. If the driver has the luxury of a garage this is the safest place for the Astravan – not many other vans on the road today would fit into it!
