THE 2006 MODEL EURO 4 VAUXHALL CORSAVAN
With the increasing popularity of ‘sporty’ vans, the Corsavan should score well, as the van has a sporty design. Add to this the standard extras, such as CD player, driver’s airbag and plenty of in cab storage and the package should be appealing to users of vans of this size.
A plus pack is also available – this gets you extras such as aircon, electric windows and mirrors, park distance control, fogs at the front and a mesh bulkhead.
VAUXHALL CORSAVAN 2007 MODEL
Launched in the UK in March 2007, the Corsavan is, unsurprisingly the van version of Vauxhall’s Corsa car. The difference between the Corsavan and previous car derived vans is that it was planned as part of the car’s development – this menas that there are strong commercial vehicle elements running through the Vauxhall Corsavan design.
The loading bay is flat and can accommodate a payload of 555kg – not bad for a vehicle of its size with a tailgate that is wide enough to cope with bulky objects.
The Corsava won’t trouble the L4H3 Vauxhall Movano in load volume terms – just 0.85m3 compared to 17m3 for the Movano, but should do for the jobs it is being bought for.
Buyers can choose from two Euro 4 engines – the petrol 80PS 1200cc or the 75PS 1300cc common rail diesel, both of which are seen in the car version.
